There is a cycle path around the lake with always beautiful views of it. Pedal boats can be rented on the west side, right next to the restaurant.

Lake Caldaro is the warmest bathing lake in the Alps and is the largest natural body of water in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.
In the southern part there is a reed bed which is a protected biotope and a paradise for many species of animals.
