Susser Winkel, Cafe Wildau, Spring and Joachimsthal are approached.
Individual finds prove the presence of humans for at least 5000 years. But only the Slavs settled here permanently. Under the rule of the Ascanians, Breden Castle was built on the shore, which served the margraves as accommodation for their hunting trips to the Schorfheide. This courtyard remained unused for a while, but was then reactivated by the Hohenzollerns in the 16th century as the "Oller Hof" ("Old Court"). In the 17th century the farm fell into disrepair; 200 years later, the Altenhof forester's lodge was built, and impressive vault remains of the Ascanian castle came to light.

Altenhof - beautiful point on the Werbellin. Whether a 4-star rest area or a snack bar, everything is available here. Nice starting point for hikes along the lake.
