You can cycle around the lake almost the entire time right next to the water and there are countless small, remote and romantic as well as large, well-designed swimming areas to go swimming in this clean and beautiful lake. Nobody has to starve around the lake - there are many different ways to stay. The Fischer or the more upscale restaurant in the Fontane Hotel, several small cafés and small snack stations in and around Altenhof, the ice cream parlor and the three restaurants in Eichhorst, the snack bar-like local ones on the campsites or the restaurant at the Kaiserbahnhof Joachimstal - we haven't been to any of them yet disappointed.
