The castle Oberaufseß Aufseßtal is the second residence of the Lords of Aufseß. The castle consists of a residential building on the southeastern corner and the former farm buildings. The entire complex is surrounded by an outer wall, reinforced at the corners by four round towers. The gatehouse is located on the north side of the complex. At the obtuse-angled south side is another bastion-like tower. In addition to guided tours, the property also offers two apartments for overnight stays.
