Here, you're actually on the Neuland Bridge over Rheinallee. It was built for the 2005 State Garden Show and connects Neuland Park with the banks of the Rhine. The curved design of its supporting structure makes it a sight to behold. From here, you also have a good view of the Leverkusen motorway bridge.

Now you can witness the construction of the new bridge. Unfortunately, for this reason, the pedestrian/bicycle path was blocked under the bridge and you have to take a small but no less attractive detour along the Dhünn. At the end of 2023, the northern part of the bridge is to be opened to traffic in two lanes each. Then the old bridge will be demolished and the southern part of the bridge will be rebuilt.
