Beautiful excursion along an uncrowded stretch but with beautiful panoramic views over the Toce valley. It starts from the Crego Oratory along a well-marked and signposted path by some willing people from Crego and Maglioggio. The two localities, the first in the municipality of Premia and the second in the municipality of Crodo, are "twinned" due to some events that occurred in the last century. Along this path the walks to rejoin the two locations take place on a couple of occasions a year.
After a few hundred meters from the start, follow a stretch of the route of the supply channel of one of the Verampio plants up to the loading dock. After this point, you enter the dense wood along a very well traced path and without dangers, reaching old abandoned pastures incorporated into the vegetation.
After an hour's walk, you will first reach the hamlet of Cruppo and then along a short stretch on the paved road you will arrive at Maglioggio. Here it is worth noting the Oratory of S. Antonio with the centuries-old chestnut behind it.
