    Whether as a cyclist or jogger, the route along the Soeste along "Kaufland" to the "Stein am Ambührener See" (2.5 km) is the most beautiful section to get from the city center of CLP in the nature reserve Thülsfelder dam. The construction measures did not expel the kingfisher. Two specimens sat in August 2018 on a log in the Soeste. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me. This morning we saw a nutria, two jays and five herons on the track. A heron stood calmly 6 meters from us in the Soeste and watched me and my dog ​​while jogging.

                  The tour as we drove it is great. Nice through the tree path in the shade in this heat.
                  It is always a pity that KOMOOT only wants to drive along the busy roads. We are familiar with the area and then choose the route accordingly.
                  KOMOOT would definitely have to offer such a variant, since non-residents have to drive along the main road all the time. Maybe someone knows help and it's just a matter of attitude.

                    You won't find a second way out of this city in such a beautiful way. On asphalt you drive directly along the winding Soeste on a narrow, paved path. You follow the river through the Soestetal. Large gardens bordering the path can also be admired, as well as the sunspots dancing on the water as the sun shines. ....
                    The next section, created by Vegebüdel as a highlight, is even nicer. The route has been completely free and passable again since April 2018. More beautiful than ever!! And a little wider later on.

                    The area between the unspeakable shopping center and the wooden bridge over the Soeste has just been redesigned to be more natural and now contains a rainwater retention basin. Made visually nice and probably also instructively prepared for pupils of the nearby schools or kindergartens - since the rainwater retention basin sounds technocratic, it's called "polder" here

                              Footpath, in my opinion less suitable as a cycle path. Very narrow, very confusing, lots of walkers, joggers, dogs. Walking speed is recommended. If you want to get ahead, take Resthauser Strasse
