This mountain inn was originally a hunter's house, and was first mentioned in 1832.
In 1895 it was first mentioned as a forester's house on the "Gibacht".
On January 30, 1910, a license was finally granted to set up an inn.

ハイキング
The Gibacht mountain inn is a great place to stop and an ideal start or end point for a hike or bike tour. In front of the inn there is also a hiking car park with numerous parking spaces. The former Gibacht mountain host and glass artist Ralph Wenzel was also the initiator of the Gibacht circular hiking trail.

Cozy mountain inn with a long tradition - as early as 1910, hikers stopped here in the forest at the Gibacht forester's lodge. Today you can let yourself be spoiled with Bavarian cuisine while taking a break and at the same time admire the glass works of art by Ralph Wenzel. The glass artist also created the glass summit cross on the Reiseck.
