The Posbank... the famous viewpoint to which the entire Veluwezoom national park owes its nickname. In fact, the Posbank is the stone bench at the top here, named after Mr. Pos.

Good starting point for hikes and short bike tours or for a break in between. The building integrates itself into the landscape to some extent. On the other side of the street is the "Posbank" with a great view.

One of the most beautiful heathland is the Herikhuizer heath, better known as Posbank. So that the heath is not overgrown by grass, Iceland ponies graze here. The landscape is spectacular non-Dutch. From a height of almost 100 m, the landscape drops (slowly) to pass into the valley of the IJssel. An interplay of depth and space. This experience has made the Posbank a regular destination for school trips for many decades.
