The small hut of the Bavarian mountain rescue service is not managed, but there is a roof over your head in bad weather and there is also a well with drinking water. You also get the wonderful view of the Bavarian Forest for free.
The mountain festival takes place every year on the weekend of the summer solstice at the Roberthütte. Music bands play from Friday to Sunday, you enjoy simple, hearty snacks and cool drinks. The festival ends on Sunday with a joint mountain mass.

The benches in front of the hut invite you to linger! Great place with great foresight! At least as great as at the Reiseck!
