Beautiful castle that stands on a basaltic cliff surrounded by underwater lava flows. The view from the homonymous square is very impressive.

The castle "Castello Normanno" or "Castello di Aci" is located on a ledge that juts out into the sea. You can go up and supposedly has a great view from above. Since I didn't want to take the risk that my bike might not be there on my return, I only looked at the castle from below ;-)
