The "oak seedlings" are an art project in the Staff Landscape Park, a destination below the Lemgo city forest. Behind this is the story of the giant oak trees that were felled elsewhere in 2015. Wolfgang Buntrock and Frank Nordiek, Hanoverian artists, have picked up their acorns and buried them here. The seedlings have now grown. Her "mothers" - peeled and worked with a chainsaw - are now here as sculptures.
