26.10.2018 - Quarry of Janice Mountain the Natural Monument, after the limestone quarry came the water. In the flooded quarries, the animal communities began to develop. The species richness in the quarry gradually became more. There are even rare plant and animal species nowadays. It is also an important paleontological site. The quarry encourages people to take a dip in the water, which is beautifully clean. There is also the possibility of gradual entry and observation of fish. There is also a facility - 2 changing rooms + two dry toilets. There was an extremely nice lady at the entrance who will make you feel completely at ease.

At the end of my short hike, the small lake was a welcome respite for my dogs. There are only a few parking spaces and only a little space by the water, because the lake is almost everywhere surrounded by steep cliffs. Nobody here has a problem with it, if you go with the dogs to the water. There was also the possibility to buy drinks (to pay in kroner, if they take euro also I do not know). If you have bathing clothes underneath, you can hop into the cool water yourself!
