Beautiful shore path along the Flakensee. Wide and level enough for prams, it is very easy to walk here. In parts, the path leads in the shade of the forest, often providing wonderful views of the lake. A few benches invite you to linger, small bathing areas invite you to splash around.

The Theodor-Fontane-Weg along the Löcknitz is particularly scenic and we read one of Fontane's most beautiful texts on a wooden plaque.

The Theodor-Fontane-Weg, which is part of the 66-lake hiking trail from the car park on Fangschleusenstraße near Erkner along the Löcknitz in the direction of Woltersdorf to the beach promenade, was given the additional name "Waldpoesie- path".
This name extension should take into account the fact that Erkner is not only closely connected to nature, but also to literature.
The inauguration of the "new" forest poetry path was September 11, 2020.
