The Silzer Linde is a very tall linden that gave this place its name; And right now in the spring, the fresh lime green is fantastic to look at. The refuge Silzer Linde is in good condition and the homonymous Ritterstein No. 34 was under financial support of the Palatine Forest Association e. V. restored. From the place of Silzer Linde walking trails go in all directions.

One of the more than 300 knight's stones of the Palatinate Forest Association (PWV) stands on an old linden tree in the middle of a crossroads and indicates the name that this linden tree has in popular parlance ("Silzer Linde"). Source:
