The Limarò Gorge, or Forra del Limarò, is an impressive gorge carved by the Sarca River in Trentino, near the Comano thermal baths.
It features rock walls up to 250 meters high, a recently constructed suspension bridge, and an ancient Roman bridge (Ponte Balandino) that offers stunning views of the gorge.
You can follow a panoramic hiking trail between the Ponte dei Servi and the Ponte Balandino, or—for the more adventurous—do a river trek, crossing the river several times.

Unfortunately, the small hiking trail up to the suspension bridge is currently closed. You should take the shortcut directly over the suspension bridge, the rest of the way is free 😊
