The Speicherstadt is known for its old brick warehouses, in which spices, coffee and other goods were stored by ships from all over the world. Nowadays, many different things are housed in the stores, such as the miniature wonderland (largest model train in the world), the Hamburg Dungeon, the Speicherstadt coffee roastery or the spice museum.

The Speicherstadt (with the Kontorhaus district and the Chilehaus) has also been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015. A visit to the Speicherstadt is always worthwhile!
