Hotel and seminar center of the Diocese of Graz Seckau in an old castle.
When the diocese of Seckau was founded as the seat of the Seckau monastery, the Archbishops of Salzburg left the “Old Tower” of Leibniz Castle to the Bishops of Seckau as a residential tower. As a result, the name Seggau (= Seckau) slowly became established for Leibniz Castle
Particularly noteworthy are the old wine cellar, the Gothic / Baroque castle chapel and the modern St. Michael's Chapel. Sr. Magda Schmidt makes very lively and sensitive spiritual tours of these places.

Beautifully located castle that is now a hotel.
The palace complex stands on a wooded hill above the city of Leibnitz. The Sulm flows around the Seggauberg in a loop and separates it from the Kreuzkogel to the north. The pilgrimage site of Frauenberg and the Sulmsee are not far from the castle. From the ridge of the hill there is a very good view of the Sulmtal and over the Mur plain to Slovenia and the Karawanken
