When I walked the Way of St. James I also stayed here overnight.

The Hörnli is a much-visited panoramic mountain in the Zurich Oberland. The view up here is great and in addition to the inn, there is also a large area up here with a bench and a barbecue area where you can eat your own picnic.

Drive to Sternenberg, continue on Hörnlistrasse to Tanzboden and from there on foot. The hike is only 1 1/2 hours long.
The view is particularly beautiful in autumn and winter when the sea of fog blows.

The inn has a very sunny terrace with the best views. For those who are too hot on the terrace, there are other tables in front of the inn with benches under trees that provide natural shade. And at the top of the vantage point there is more Bänkli where you can rest and enjoy the view in the other direction.
