Hiding place of Anabaptists. Is now sometimes visited by Anabaptists from America! Today, the man-sized, shallow cave is often used by small groups for a campfire. The cave is covered by a Nagelfluhschicht on which yews grow. From the crest flows a fine waterfall.

The Anabaptist Cave offered protection to the adherents of the Anabaptist movement in the 16th century. Today it is a great stopover on the way to the Bachtel.

The history of the Anabaptists is very interesting and this site (cave) has a lot to tell.
Good shoes are an advantage, although I always walk very well in barefoot shoes, especially on paths like this.
We were out and about in sunshine ☀️, in November, but it is cool in the cave, so please not only wear good shoes, but also appropriate clothing 😉.
I hope you have a lot of fun 🙋🏻‍♂️
