Habsburg Castle was the namesake for the famous noble family, whose foundation stone was laid between 1020 and 1030. Anyone interested in the history of the Habsburgs can take an audio tour. In the courtyard there is a small restaurant with outdoor seating from which you can enjoy a wide view. All information about the castle is available at museumaargau.ch/schloss-habsburg.

For those who are interested the inside of the castle can be visited for free (v.a tower). Around the Habsburg (name comes from Habichts-Burg) interactive stations with the history of the Habsburg are installed. The restaurant is known for excursions and family celebrations.
