Much more correct is the assumption that the church has its name from the barking poplars that once surrounded it. Also, that the church was still used, nobody knows how to remember. Presumably, in times that have long passed, it has been a pilgrimage church to which the pious pilgrimage every year. The roof is destroyed, the windows are smashed, everything that belongs to the interior of a church is gone, but the walls, though gray and weathered, are still undamaged, and the window frames are still preserved. "
