The small chapel that has always been part of the castle dates back to the 15th century. It is even believed that it may have an even earlier origin.
A documented mention can be traced back to the year 1630.
In 1971, ownership of the chapel was transferred to the Antweiler Wachendorf parish by deed of donation. In 1974/75 extensive renovation work was carried out on the chapel. Some of the eleven windows were subsequently replaced. You should visit the chapel just because of these windows.
Another renovation took place in 2010.

The chapel was first mentioned in documents in 1680. The chapel is much older. Experts date them to the 9th or 10th century.
