The region captivates above all by the captivating foresight over fields, paddocks and pastures, which are bathed in rich green. It is a comfortable path that leads through the quiet area. Here and there we meet cows and horses, who move freely on the vast pastures. Carriage rides are also popular. Sporadically you can see individual groups of trees and small woodlands sticking out of the plain.
An impressive complex that catches the eye on arrival in Saignelégier is the Marché-Concours National de Chevaux, known as the Horse Rally. Here is an annual national horse market (on the 2nd weekend in August). A festivity that attracts thousands of visitors from all over Switzerland.
