ハイキング
Limestone was once mined very close to the Anwandfels and transported down to the valley by cable car. The cable car was built at the end of the 19th century. Some of the concrete pillars of the supports still protrude from the ground today. The hiking trail from Geislingen leads past these remains.

From the striking rocky outcrop, a wide panoramic view opens up over the Fils Valley, the rooftops of Geislingen, and the surrounding hills of the Swabian Alb. The contrast between the town in the valley and the wooded, steep slopes that form a natural frame around the panorama is particularly striking.
