The Eifel-Bärbelkreuz is located in Neuhaus in the municipality of Hellenthal.

The Hellenthal villages and settlements - such as Giescheid, Miescheid, Neuhaus, Ramscheid and Udenbreth - in the northern part of the Zitterwald are among the highest church villages in the Rhineland.
