The Cathedral of Our Lady was once the church of the Zwiefalten Benedictine Abbey. The baroque building is impressive from the outside. But its splendor inside is almost indescribable. Wherever you look, everything is adorned with paintings, figures and other decorative elements. After the eyes have had enough to be amazed, you can then pamper your palate in the monastery brewery.

Zwiefalten is a well-known place of pilgrimage. At its heart is the gigantic monastery, one of the most important late baroque buildings in Germany. A look inside the monastery church is worthwhile, because the lavish decoration is impressive. There is of course a lot to see around the monastery, including a great beer garden.
