From the viewpoint "Alter Steinbruch" you not only have a beautiful view of the densely wooded Kellenbachtal, but also of the Langenstein rock formations, which rise on the other side of the valley. High up, just below the crag, a pair of peregrine falcons has been breeding for many years. If you're lucky, you can watch the elegant birds circling above the valley.

For the Traumschleife Heimat, this is the end of the stony descent over the alpine path. For the Soonwaldsteig, which climbs steeply from the Kellenbachtal, you can take a break here before you take the alpine path to the lookout point above the quarry.
The narrow Langenstein rises from the forest opposite.
A wooden viewing platform offers a wide view of the Kellenbachtal and a rest bench allows you to linger.
Unfortunately, it is not very quiet due to the main road passing below, as it attracts a lot of motorized speeders, so that the Soonwaldsteig makes a 100-meter dangling to cross and warning signs are set up. And they are sorely needed ...
