In the part of the town hall where the Selb district court was formerly located, there are 22 (2 x 11) white-glazed bells made of Meissen porcelain, which together form a carillon.
Four times a day, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., different melodies are played - depending on the season.
A city coat of arms made of porcelain hangs between the two halves of the porcelain carillon on the balcony parapet of the neo-Gothic three-wing building from 1860.
