However, it may be that the Almerin is busy with work in the field or other tasks and is therefore not present for a short time. And there are many such tasks to be done in the hut and on the grounds. There is the usual food in the huts, i.e. bacon, sausage and cheese sandwiches, as well as the usual drinks, including milk from the farm's own sheep and goats. There is no possibility of overnight accommodation.

The Mitterhütte is something special. A hardworking, lovely alpine pasture resident has reopened the oldest alpine pasture in the surrounding area. A must-visit when you go to the Hochalm. The food served is typical of a mountain hut, such as bacon and cheese bread, as well as the usual drinks, including the farm's own fresh milk. A must-visit on the way!
