The Måskosgårsså is a dry and deep gorge, which was once formed by the mass of water from a melting ice cover.
The Schluchtgrund is littered with house-high boulders. A path leads from the rest area Skaite to Muttosfallet right on the edge of the gorge.
Parts of Måskosgårsså are bird sanctuary. With a little luck, a flying eagle can be discovered over the rocks. There are other small gorges nearby, but none is as big as this one.
