Actually, this tree is the place of a Marian pilgrimage. Today (2023) the large votive image with Mary, the former church and Cistercian monks is mounted on the tree again. This place was probably maintained by monks from the nearby former Cistercian abbey.
a very mighty tree, unfortunately no longer alive, stands here by the roadside. This so-called Tasuend-year oak has a trunk circumference of approx. 8 m, whereby masonry was necessary for stabilization and today a roof protects the tree. The green branches come from the apple tree behind the monument.
