The Black Hut is the starting point for the alpine hut climbs to the Mindelheimer and Rappenseehütte huts. If you want to go to the southernmost point in Germany, follow the course of the valley even deeper to the end.

The Schwarze Hütte is one of the last hosted huts on the way to the southernmost point of Germany. Originally the hut was used by forestry workers as accommodation, today it is a popular tourist destination. To this point leads a paved road that is easy to cope on foot or on the bike.
