Since 1438, a mill has been attested in Marwede, but it has its name from the miller Wolfhagen, who rebuilt the mill in 1796 after a fire. The equipment of the grain mill, the sawmill on the other bank and the complete inventory of the former oil mill: everything is still here! There, where today the oil mill is furnished, lived until 1859 the miller family. Only their move to the new house on the other bank made room for muller gangway, stove and press.
