170 meters away, the pier takes you to the Baltic Sea. In the tranquil town of Rerik you have a good selection of restaurants and hotels. A tip: getting up early is worth it. Because at the harbor of the seaside resort fishermen can watch as they return to the harbor with their fresh prey.
The Rerik pier was inaugurated in 1992. At the foot of the Schmiedeberg, the popular meeting point for holidaymakers and locals extends 170 metres out over the Baltic Sea. Walking across the bridge, you are treated to a view of the wide sea and the beautiful coastal landscape of the Wustrow peninsula, the picturesque Schmiedeberg and the old Rerik church.
