With a total height of 530m, the upper basin of the Langenprozelten pumped storage power plant on the Sohlhöhe is one of the highest elevations in the Spessart. From the dam you are above the trees and have a magnificent view (unusual for the mostly forested mountains in the Spessart) over the Spessart into the Rhön. Together with the easy accessibility and the many interesting places in the area that can be hiked, it is definitely worth a trip at any time.
