The Breithornhütte is located in one of the most beautiful spots in the Great Walsertal, in the middle of the Alpe Oberpartnom.
At 1,680 m, it is the highest hut in the Sonntag-Stein area and stands proudly at the foot of its namesake, the Breithorn. This makes it the perfect starting point for many tours and hikes - both in summer and winter

At 1,680 m, it is the highest hut in the Sonntag-Stein area and stands proudly at the foot of its namesake, the Breithorn. This makes it the perfect starting point for many tours and hikes - both in summer and winter.

For those looking for a relaxing time in the mountains, the Alpe Oberpartnom is exactly the place to find relaxation in a natural environment.
The film "The Breath of Heaven" (written and directed by Reinhold Bilgeri) was shot on the Alpe Oberpartnom in 2009 and 2010. Anyone who wants to get to know one of the locations of the film about the 1954 avalanche disaster in the Grosses Walsertal is in the right place at the Breithornhütte.
