The large outdoor area makes children's dreams come true! Climbing, scrambling, sliding, and running around – there are virtually no limits to their urge to move:

Playhouses, swings, slides, and seesaws; a water play area with a hand pump, stream, and weirs; a castle ruin on the hill made of remaining walls; a balcony with views through it; fantastic climbing opportunities; various ramps, slides, and bridges; the bear's mouth and bear's cave with the growling bear; and the zip line delight all children.

The area is open year-round and free of charge (no entrance fee). In winter, opening times may vary depending on the weather.

The Kurpark in Grafenau, which is obviously also all about the bear, is really worth seeing as part of the bear path. The facility is now officially called “BÄREAL”. Particularly noteworthy is the really impressive adventure playground in the middle of the park: a bear cave, an adventure tower, various slides, a tree house and much more await you here. If you are already one of the "bigger kids", then the active park is recommended. In general, the "Bäreal" also invites you to linger and relax. The "Gateway to the Wilderness" is a facility of the Bavarian Forest National Park and also offers information about the world of bears and other animals in the national park. A real tip along the Bear Trail!
