Every year on the first weekend of Advent there is a cozy Christmas market with many stalls where you can buy handicrafts and where your physical well-being is taken care of.
The castle is very atmospheric and it's worth looking down at the Maar, where the large Advent wreath floats in the water.

Small but nice. Very nice location with a wide view over the town and the Eifel and the Maar. Especially nice for "little knights" who scout some corners here and see if enemies approach the castle complex
