        No two days are the same here. We invite you to visit the 800-year-old cultural monument
        Gut Basthorst and leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind.

        At Gut Basthorst, traditional agriculture and forestry coexist alongside modern-day, former stables and the manor house for weddings, corporate events, conferences, trade fairs, concerts, and markets. Our atmospheric, traditional spring, fall, and Christmas markets in particular attract many thousands of visitors each year.

        In addition, you can enjoy fresh, regional dishes year-round in our estate restaurant, which is located next to the horse stable and the rose garden behind it, and end the evening in one of the individually furnished hotel rooms on the farm or in one of the holiday apartments.

        The estate, with its over 30 buildings, has now become home to several medium-sized businesses and retailers, as well as a distillery, a gunsmith's shop, an antiques dealer, a Swedish whiskey barrel warehouse, and a restoration workshop.

        Their exclusive, often handcrafted goods are manufactured and sold here on-site.
