The rustic Mitterfeldalm is a traditional mountain farm and is located at the foot of the Hochkönig above the Salzburg village Mühlbach am Hochkönig. We were on the Salzburger Almenweg road, where it serves as a popular stopover for hikers, climbers and nature lovers.

This very nice mountain pasture is an excellent base for touring the Hochkönig for those who have to make another journey.
After the journey to the Arthurhaus the ascent to the Mitterfeldalm (30-40 min.) If necessary even in the evening with headlamps to cope and so the next morning relaxed the tour can be started in a fantastic environment.

The hut is a popular stop for hikers, climbers and nature lovers. From here, for example, hiking tours to the summit of the Hochkönig are possible.
