The paths leading to the Forstberg are marked blue / white and require surefootedness and a head for heights.

The path from the Druesberghütte to the Forstberg leads partly over scree-like, but grippy ground and beautiful mountain paths up to the summit.

From the other direction over Gross Sternen to the Forstberg leads over beautiful meadow paths, ridge paths and at Gross Sternen there are some cool craggy spots over rocks that are secured with wire ropes.

These paths should better be used in dry conditions, as is usually the case with blue / white marked paths. Otherwise the rocky or narrow passages in particular can quickly become tricky and slippery.

When dry, the paths are super great, varied and with a brilliantly beautiful view and highly recommended!

Highly recommendable hike, with a great view of the Uri and Glarus Alps. The tightrope walk is totally worth it and is really fun for easy climbers!
