From the viewing platform, you can watch the birds that reside here in the nature reserve in peace and quiet from a safe distance. It is also a good idea to take a break, seating is available on the viewing platform.
The Mürmes is located in the nature reserve of the same name and is an oval flat moor with four meter thick layers of peat. Rare plants with meaningful names grow on its surface, such as the narrow-leaved cotton grass, the round-leaved sundew, the hairy water fennel, the ivy-leaved buttercup or the spotted orchid.
