The ascent and return to Morro Blanco is demanding but rewarding with amazing views of the entire Bolnuevo coast. The requirement is physical and by sectors it can be somewhat technical, remember to go with caution, step and firm, proper footwear and plenty of water especially in the summer months.

Top hike, best view, short and tough, but really worth it. The shorter route (clockwise) is relatively easy, easy to find.

Around the back (anti-clockwise) is a bit more difficult, no cairns. But there are beautiful views to the west.

There is a parking lot near the roundabout (Parking barranco de algezares - not suggested on Komoot), from there the walk takes about 2-2.5 hours there and back.

We were up there at sunset. It was amazing, especially as the full moon rose over Port Mazarron at the same time.

Please note: the path to the summit is closed from January to June by a sign and threat of fines.
