The Sarentino Refuge is located at an altitude of 1,614 meters and is an excellent stopping point. This typical Alpine hotel is nestled among meadows and woods above Sarentino.

The iconic Stone Men are nearby and easily accessible from the refuge. The property offers typical South Tyrolean cuisine.

From the beginning of July to mid-September (2016: July 3rd - September 18th) can be reached from Sarnthein (bus station) by hiking bus. Departure on weekdays at 9 a.m., Sundays and public holidays at 9:30 a.m.; Return journey 5:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. (in September).
The only way to get to the Auener Alm, the Auener Joch and the Stoanernen Mandln is on foot.
