Private Arch is just a short detour off of the Primitive Trail to a small, low arch, deep in the heart of the Devils Garden Area. Given that most turn around after Double O Arch, you may have this arch entirely to yourself, hence the name! This arch is the final arch that you will see on this hike. If you took every detour off the main trail to the various arches along the way, Private Arch will be the eight arch that you've seen, a very impressive feat! Private Arch is a great place to rest, take photos, and drink water before the final push through the most challenging and remote section of the Devils Garden Loop: the Primitive Trail.
