Stakendorf on the Baltic Sea is only about 4 kilometers from the Baltic Sea resort of Schönberg. The small, idyllic village with its center is approx. 2 kilometers from the Baltic Sea coast. Stakendorf's beach area, the Stakendorfer Strand, borders directly on the Schönberger Strand. The so-called Quermole is located on Stakendorfer Strand. It borders on the nature reserve located there. Stakendorf has a population of around 450 residents. The border between Schönberger Strand and Stakendorfer Strand runs along the fishing huts.

The ever-popular straw figures stand at the large village pond during the Probsteier Korntage. This year it is Alf. Before that it was, among other things, Werner, a Viking ship,...

There is also the Angus Hof Stoltenberg/Frick near the village pond with its own farm shop.

It's not far to Stakendorf Beach, where you can eat delicious food at the various fish stalls with a view of the Baltic Sea.
