Very beautiful, blue mountain lake. Here you can barbecue and have a picnic. There is a playground, you can do a little boat ride, caress alpacas and watch trout farming. There are many small, romantic paths through rocks that delight children and adults alike. We recommend.

As already written by the others, the blue water is rare and worth every visit. Not frozen in the winter. Good development means you do not have to do without anything, but in the summer it can be very busy. Children will love the lake ...

No wonder why Blausee likes to be used as a wedding location. Only if you want to barbecue there and have a picnic, then you have to be there relatively early and even then no guarantee. Also, you should note the bus travel times if you like me from Kandersteg -> Blausee wandert and want to go back with the bus (drives only once per hour during the day, 2x in the morning).
