    The television tower is one of Hamburg's landmarks. It rises proudly, dazzling white, high into the sky. We Hamburgers are waiting for it to finally be put to use again, because the view from up there over the city was spectacular.

        In the section of Planten un Blomen between CCH and exhibition halls one has the Heinrich Hertz tower in view. The 279.2 m high television tower is popularly called "Telemichel". One of the landmarks of the city of Hamburg.

              The television tower, the tallest building in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg, characterizes the cityscape as a ubiquitous giant. The viewing platform and the revolving restaurant have been closed since 2001. The plans for the reopening are becoming more and more concrete, in 2023 the television tower should be open to the public again.
