Wotruba Church (23rd, Mauer, Ottillingerplatz 1; "On the Holy Trinity").

Originally a church was planned as part of a monastery complex for Carmelites in Stein near Vienna, but this did not materialize because it contradicted the order's vow of poverty. In order to organize and finance the current building on the Georgenberg in the Mauer district, Dr. Margarete Ottillinger Merits (who viewed the building as the Church of Thanksgiving for her return from Russian deportation); When choosing the architect, Prelate Ungar directed them to Fritz Wotruba. The building permit was granted on July 24, 1974, and the inauguration took place on October 24, 1976.
